Great news Pam - roll on 22nd April. Many thanks for keeping us in touch over the past months. We look foward to your next blog confirming you have reached the end of the treatment. You really do deserve a medal for being so resilient - the Blog was a really valuable tool for everyone. We hope that the April showers buzz off and that you have a great trip to the Lakes and that you enjoyed the play last w/e.

Hi Pam - so sorry to hear that your treatment last Friday was put on hold and hope that it can re-commence on 07/04.
Great to hear that you are travelling for most of May and we are keeping our fingers crossed that proper spring weather arrives in the next 4 weeks! With a bit of sun, the flora should be developing well and both locations should look a picture.
Glad to know Ben got away OK - did he choose to 'set sail' on April fool's day?! We looked on the Bummit site tonight but it's probably too early to expect a progress report.

Hi Pam & Pete,
We also went to see Edward Scissorhands last Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the bit with the houses - oh and THAT woman in the house on the left hand side - perfectly cast!
Sorry to hear about your glitch with the chemo - hope all resumes shortly. Even the space shuttle's countdown gets interrupted occasionally, so I guess it's just one of those things that happens sometimes - anyway only seven to go.
Fairport Convention too - well lucky you, hope you both enjoy it!

Woops, still haven't quite got the hang of this, just forgot to fill in my name in the box and the blog controller deleted my message, so here goes again!
It all sounds very exhausting and frustrating at the moment. Gerry was explaining to me about the white cell thing and getting the balance right between hitting with the chemo and leaving you with enough fight-power. As you've already said, this stuff changes you're life perspective and as your energy returns, you will be planning lots of brilliant and important things in your life, (including, hopefully some restorative trips to West Cornwall!!) much love, Heatherxx

Hi Pam - we hope that when you read this you will have completed the radiotherapy and that the machines behaved themselves!
We are pleased to hear that the rash has improved and hope that the toothache is also on the mend.
Sorry that you and Pete didn't get to Centre Parcs but trust Beccy and her pal enjoyed their trip.
We hope the taste buds are behaving themselves as far as possible and reckon that after tomorrow the 'week countdown' will be 8.

Dear Pam,
Just got back from a few days in Cornwall, so have been in a computer free zone! I've just caught up with reading your last two installments and read about THE RASH. Not sure about being in the medical text book, should think you felt like throwing a few, I certainly did on your behalf! Hope the rash is making its way back wherever it came from and leaving you alone! House business moving very slowly and frustratingly, will tell you when there's anything interesting to tell!

A rash? How dull for you...

I have nothing as interesting to report (thankfully), only that I arrived back in Houston from a stint in London to find the weather cool, skies blue and full of the 'nearly summer' season that is now upon us here in the south of Americaland.

Before Y'all get too jealous, this weather lasted just long enough to bring in the weekend, at which point very low cloud came in, and with it lots of miserable UK-like rain. How dull for me.

I hope you get back on track soon, and all proceeds smoothly.

Oh well, back to work tomorrow - no doubt it'll be sunny...
